Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi → Sirimon Gate → Old Moses Camp (3300m)
– Pickup from Nairobi
– Drive to Nanyuki
– Park entry formalities
– 3–4 hour trek to Old Moses Camp
– Dinner & overnight
Highlight: First views of the peaks + acclimatization


Day 2: Old Moses → Shipton Camp (4200m)
– Trek through moorland & valleys
– Cross Liki North Valley
– Lunch on the trail
– Arrival at Shipton with stunning views of Batian, Nelion & Lenana
Highlight: High-altitude acclimatization


Day 3: Summit Day (Lenana 4985m) → Mintos → Lake Ellis Camp
– Start at 2AM
– 3–4 hour steep ascent to Point Lenana
– Sunrise at the summit
– Descend via Chogoria route
– Overnight at Lake Ellis
Highlight: Magical glacier sunrise


Day 4: Lake Ellis → Meru Bandas → Nairobi
– Easy descent through forest trails
– Pickup and drive back to Nairobi
Highlight: Celebratory return from the mountain
